Welcome to Malton and Norton Canoe Club's website. MNCC currently has around 50 members. We are a reasonably active club with the prospects to do much more with ideas from members and other club users. We are open to most ages, and are looking to enjoy many more trips every year. The club relies on its members for many events and sessions so while looking through our site, if you have any suggestions then feel free to send an email to our webmaster email which can be found on our contact page.

Club Nights for 2012 Smile

We have started up again on a Tuesday evening down at the Clubhouse : 6:30 - 8 pm. Dry sessions at the moment, theory sessions, cleaning up and getting boats ready, so come down and give us a hand, you might learn something as well.

 We will get back out on the river on Tuesday nights on 27 March, after the clocks go forward.

Memberships are due for renewal in April - dont forget. New Forms available in the clubhouse.

I've sat down and worked on doing the things I was going to do over a year ago now, this includes fully integrating the forum into the website, and adding Facebook connect and social plugins to the website, more to come shortly.

New Courses!

Hey everyone,

The Club Sessions web page has been updated to include two new courses that will be running over the next month or two. These include a PaddlePower Passport course that covers everything in the BCU 1 Star award and is suitable for beginners run by Paul Lister. Members who have completed or nearly completed their Passport/1 Star training can then go on to a new course run by Chris O'Neil which will develop on these skills up to Discover/2 Star level. There are limited places available so let us know as soon as possible you're interested.
